Mike, What it means is deliberately "vague" and this is why I list it in the "negative" column. For practical purposes, if you want to use your webserver to advertize your consulting services, this is technically a "business use." But from an ISP's perspective, strict enforcement could be counter-productive. It's in their best interest for your business to grow, your need for bandwidth to go up, and for you to feel that they gave you a break when you were small, or otherwise feel some reason to keep them when it comes time to upgrade your service. mike.h -----Original Message----- From: plug-admin@lists.phillylinux.org [mailto:plug-admin@lists.phillylinux.org]On Behalf Of Michael Leone Sent: Wednesday, November 20, 2002 8:37 AM To: plug@lists.phillylinux.org Subject: RE: [PLUG] DirecTV DSL & Linux mike.h said: > I use DirecTV DSL. What does this mean - that you get monthly usage statistics from them? They ask you why your usage is so high? -- PGP Fingerprint: 0AA8 DC47 CB63 AE3F C739 6BF9 9AB4 1EF6 5AA5 BCDF Member, LEAF Project <http://leaf.sourceforge.net> AIM: MikeLeone Public Key - <http://www.mike-leone.com/~turgon/turgon-public-key.asc> Registered Linux user# 201348 _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
