[PLUG] usb compact flash reader 

Anyone using a compact flash reader? I'm having trouble getting it
recognized.

I upgraded to the 2.4.19 kernel (apt-get install
kernel-image-2.4-686) and insmod'd usbcore, hpusbscsi, and
usb-storage, although I'm not sure if I needed all that.

But my machine still doesn't want to recognize the usb compact flash
reader. Or I'm not asking it to correctly.

Any suggestions or experiences?
