[PLUG] bind configuration

I am trying to install and configure bind. It has
been about 2 or 3 years since working with bind 8. I
compiled and installed it with --prefix=/var/named,
and I was assuming that I'd find basic configuration
files in there that I could modify, as well as
root.hints, etc. I found nothing, is there anywhere I
can go for good information on initially setting up
these files? Once I have them I know what to do with
them. I was not able to find any good docs on my own.
