screwed up my ppp dialer (red hat 7.2)

I think I did it when configuring eth0 as a lan card using 
network-config.

My ISP still appears on rp3-coinfig, but rp3 only lists ppp0, eth0 and 
loopback.  ppp0 has replaced my isp, netreach.  when I launch ppp0, it 
does not dial in.  when I boot computer it does.  rp3 used to have a 
bits in/bits out bar graph and a big start/stop button.  ppp0 has no 
start stop button.

how can I fix?
