Re: [PLUG] Without OS X

I guess Apple doesn't care about the person who already has OS X and decides to buy new hardware. Not much different from M$ in that respect. Why are Linux users who hate the M$ Tax willing to quietly pay the Apple Tax?

Not anymore. You used to get (when I got mine last year) OS X

If you're just talking about buying Apple hardware without paying the
"Apple Tax" for the OS, you're kidding yourself; Apple's pitch is all
about selling one integrated product (as opposed to a patchwork of
hardware & software like we've been accustomed to in PC-land).

Is it possible to buy a Mac laptop without OS X?
