Googling for "CursorShadow xfree86 4" produces three different ideas of what that field should include: {1|0}: http://thorstenhaas.de/toshiba2410/files/XF86Config-4 {on|off}: http://perkypants.org/dotfiles/system/XF86Config-4.xinerama.html {true|false}: http://mobilix.org/toshiba_s5005_s504_xf86config_4.html The first and third put the setting in the Device section, the second puts it in the Screen section (commented). Now, maybe all three of these are valid keywords for a boolean type under XF86 4, but that feels shady. Have you tried all three versions of the negative? And where are *you* specifying it? If your distro's smart enough to provide it, does xf86cfg have a flag for this? If not, do they (say, Red Hat) provide a GUI X configuration widget that provides an interface to the setting? -- gabriel rosenkoetter gr@eclipsed.net Attachment:
