Just as an FYI: I made a backup of this directory, and upgraded kdebase and kdelibs3. Upgrading these packages did not affect my KDE configuration. Thank you for your help! Greg PS: After getting anti-aliasing working, I've decided that it's not all it's cracked up to be, and turned it off. ----------------------------------------------------- I think a good starting point for your search is "~/.kde".
