If memory of past conversation serves, you say you've done similar
things with Postgres?

Your throwaway about select(*) (does it really *still* do a full
walk for that?) not-with-standing, got a bitchfest you can cut and
paste about that?

Most people on PLUG have probably never heard of sapdb, but they've
sure heard of Postgres. Were the ways in which I maligned it
deserved?
