I avoid dual-booting whenever possible.

I also don't like pre-installed OSes.  If I install the OS myself, then 
I know I have everything I need to re-install, if necessary.

That's how I feel about it, but I bet there are people who would like to 
have a Linux/Windows, pre-installed, dual-boot laptop.  It even sounds cool.
