I actually know john, he's involved with Linux, Java, and many
proprietary IBM systems. I don't know what he sent you (maybe Jughead?)
but I'm certain that if you sent him an email, he'd take you off his
list and apologize for bothering you. I think maybe you are going
overboard with the spammer-at-large accusations and posting your grip
publicly. He's a good guy with a lot of knowledge about some systems
that you may need to know about someday.
