I've used a few.  They all "just plain worked" via the USB mass
storage driver, and appear as an emulated SCSI disk.

I haven't tried this one, but it looks cool, and one less thing to
carry around, perhaps:

It's a pen drive, but with an earphone jack to play any *.mp3 files it
happens to find on the drive.
