I dunno about the 1200 or 1300, but my sister gave me her 'broken' HP 1100 laserjet (It had a misfeed problem which HP knew about and sent me a free repair-at-home kit). After I applied the fix it has been great as my soho network printer. Just my 2 cents. -Pete On Mon, 2003-06-09 at 02:32, Joe Uknalis wrote: > Well, my trusty Dec 1152 laserprinter (circa 1994) may be on it's way out. > Can't seem to find anyone who carries toner & the machine is accordioning > the last 1/4 of the page... > > http://www.linuxprinting.org/suggested.html > suggests > > Kyocera FS1107 (newer FS1010?, $379) > Samsung ML4500 (??) > HP Laserjet 1200 > > I'm leaning toward the HP, but now the HP1300 (which also gets good marks, > $400) is out. There seem to be a supply of refurbished 1200/1200SE's, but > am a little leery of such things... anyone have experience with the 1300?? > > thanks > > Joe > > > _________________________________________________________________________ > Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org > Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce > General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
