RE: [PLUG] redhat-config-network bombs

[brad@guardian /etc/sysconfig]$ cat network
NETWORKING=yes
HOSTNAME=guardian.sphericality.org
[brad@guardian /etc/sysconfig]$

That is all that I have in /etc/sysconfig/network

netconfig is in /usr/sbin and it looks like
/usr/sbin/netconfig --nameserver=<DNS server ip> should work.

If memory serves, the file /etc/sysconfig/network should
hold some general info, like hostname and gateway. The
directory /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts are
mostly for the interfaces themselves.

there's also the "netconfig" setup program, if thats
installed.
