Where is the header you mentioned?

Why do you keep crying about the antenna being soldered on?  Grab a 
soldering iron and solder in a connector. Maybe a SMA bulkhead 
connector.  Or, for less convenience and flexability, but less signal 
loss, solder a piece of coax cable directly to the board.  Just turn 
that frown upside down.
