I wonder what the little thing near the antenna is. You mean to the right of the antenna in http://www.trilug.org/~chrish/dell-1184/DSCF0027.JPG ? That's the reset button. Where is the header you mentioned? It's not really showing clearly in the pics that are up there now. I'll have to get a closeup tonight. Why do you keep crying about the antenna being soldered on? Crying? Hardly. I'm disappointed by it, because for the purpose of this project the less time/work/hacking it takes to go from box to mast the better. Think of the scale of it. We're not talking about 2 or 3 solder jobs here. It would have been much better for the intended use if there were a removable antenna. Grab a soldering iron and solder in a connector.
