What makes you think Dan Robbins took advantage of him? Was that on the Zynot website FAQ or something? Sorry if I missed it. Just curious.

Looks like Gentoo is planning on taking their new found popularity
seriously by forking out the GPL work, etc to a non-profit called Zynot.
