btw, i got $44k a year on average from google:
http://www2.nsta.org/careers/salaries.asp

Lets also not forget things like trying to NOT lose your cool in front of 40
impressionable minds? I mean in retrospect I cannot belive how few teachers
in my youth never came to blows over the crap I pulled...

Also note that there are how many thousand teachers in the United States and
we maby only hear about 5-10 bad apples every year... HOW MANY OF THESE MEN
AND WOMEN ARE DOING ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY WITH NO THANKS?!

Yeah im biased... I have one uncle in rehab from teaching in inner philly and
i have 5 generations of relitives who have taught, been head masters or
worked at Westtown's Freinds school. My family has a long line of college
educated teachers, so i have some warped ideas of things :)

These people have shit work, with no real compensation but maby some higher
level of thanks if they can keep fooling themselves long enough.

If a teacher sucks, its probibly more our fault than theres IMHO.

Cheers
