When in the boot proccess are you getting this error message.
If you are getting it almost immediately it means that openboot (sun's
bios)
is trying to do a network boot. This could be because it boots from the
network by default. I haven't played with openboot in a while but i think
to
list the environment is something "show env" or "env" check them out and
make sure the default boot is from the disk. As someone mentioned the
command "boot disk1" is the manual way to boot from the disk. To run this
you probably need to do a stop-a then "set auto-boot? false" and finaly a
"reset" and then type in boot disk1 at the ok prompt.
If you are getting this error message after the os kernel is loaded then it
most likely is some sort of error because the dhcp client is not getting
rarp response from the dhcpd server on the network. But that looks much
more
like an openboot error message than an os one.

Subject: [PLUG] aurora 1.0 on sparcstation 5 problem
I installed aurora 1.0 on a sparcstation 5, configured it for DHCP, and
connected it to my router. I am receiving the following error message upon
booting "Timeout waiting for ARP/RARP packet." I can't seem to get past
this message. Any help would be appreciated.
