You don't have to buy it. In contrast, I would never recommend not buying a scanner for Window$. And, like I said before, the thought of a Linux virus revisits me on a regular basis. (I did have a Unix version of a McAfee scanner at one time.)


If we don't use scanners, how do we know that there isn't already a stealthly virus currently on our systems? I guess there is FUD either way!
