 I mention the following because this .iso comes with the drivers for the
gigabit NIC e1000.
(i am unable to test it personally, but it may be useful for your
situation)

Suggested usage:
-Boot of the cd to load the drivers for you NIC.  If it works, download the
rest via http

This probably the most up to date version of the netinst you will find.
and is much nicer to use than jigdo.  Its what I use to install Debian.
