Knoppix provides support for all of the systems that low end 
motherboards that have no real video ram and use a block of system 
memory for video ram.  Debian Sarge using version 4 of Xfree86 has this 
support.

You also have to make sure that you are using version 4 of Xfree86 to 
make this work.

If Knoppix works read the above link and follow the instructions. to 
install on a hard drive.  Apparently it only installs on on huge 
partition.  This can be altared later.
