Request for Applications
for
USMS Web Developer

Application Deadline is May 16
  
United States Masters Swimming (USMS) is soliciting applications for
the position of Web Developer to assist the USMS Webmaster. This
position will be involved in all phases of development and maintenance
of the USMS web site (www.usms.org). Such development includes the
design and maintenance of a MySQL database, creation of custom PHP and
Perl scripts to drive the web site and to provide for USMS
administrative features, and web page layout and design 
 
Required skills include a demonstrated proficiency in developing plain
HTML web sites as well as experience with at least one server-side
scripting language (PHP, ASP, Perl) and experience in creating
database-driven web sites. Experience in creating dynamic PHP and
MySQL driven web sites is preferred. Additional experience in graphic
design and client-side JavaScript will also be considered. Familiarity
with the USMS organization and swimming terminology is a plus.
