Hmm -- thanks. And of course this reminds me that I should have provided more info. I'm at work, not at home. I'm trying to send through the domain's mail server, from within the same network. Perhaps I do still need to authenticate; if so, can you give me a sense of exactly what I need to ask the network administrator? And where I tell sendmail how to find the mail server? I tried define(`SMART_HOST', `mail.uarts.edu')dnl within my sendmail configuration.
