Er, sorry about the duplication...missed the post where it was
mentioned.  Mea culpa!  As atonement, here are links to several
articles on ssh-agent and keychain, for those who haven't played
with openssh's public-key authentication mechanisms.  It can be
very convenient once you get all the pieces in place.
