Testing is ok right now because its near stable release. But at one point you couldn't get GNOME installed, and things like that. Also, no security updates for testing (which they will start up soon now thats its near stable). I've solved that "no writable source" problem in K3B. Turns out Kernel 2.6.8.1.x.y.z-snmpfix-nfs-fix2-blah :) has a problem with ATA IDE burners.
