[PLUG] smtp with verizon weirdness

An ongoing puzzle gets weirder:

I have an item in my mail queue for a couple verizon.net addresses.
It continues to fail to be delivered.

The odd thing is that other mail to verizon.net sent since, even to
these same addresses, is successfully delivered.  Forcing a queue run
seconds before or after a successful delivery doesn't change the
outcome of this one message.

Here is a transcript of the failure.  Any advice?
