Thanks Jon, I'll check out more of the resources at namesys.com.
The thread at infoprosjoint.net is interesting too... that's one to
bookmark!
Currently, dd_rescue has pulled 24 Gig off of the drive with 6 errors.
I'll run it a couple of times (using the bad block file option) to see
if I can get an error free image. It's an interesting program.
