[PLUG] debian testing mouse speed gnome 2

I just upgraded a debian box to testing with gnome 2.  Perhaps
unrelated, but the mouse now moves much faster.  I haven't found a
prefs file or configuration option to change the speed with which my
mouse moves.

Any pointers?
