Yeah, it appears you are screwed.

That's why if the cable companies had half a brain and knew anything at 
all about marketing they could clean Verizons clock!

But all they can think about is maximizing the number of dollars they 
can suck from a customer -- they have zero idea what "customer service" 
and meeting "customer needs" is all about.
