Hi Sandy,

Haven't seen you for a while.  In answer to your question, I think that
when you boot up Knoppix look in /boot/config-2.6.* and look to see how
the driver is loaded.  The people who did Knoppix may have added some
hardware drivers that are not included in the standard kernel.

Compair the Knoppix kernel config with yours and you will probably see
the answer.
