I assumed he meant he had a 486 or less with a 64MB HDD. I think linux will run nicely on any Pentium class computer. I have 3 166MHz, 32MB, 2GB computers happily running slackware 8.1 one as a pgp server, one with LAMP and the other as my firewall. I think that is the beauty of linux. I can install and use software and build my skill set for work at home with a minimal investment. If not for linux and all the OSS I would not have the opportunity to delve so deeply into the inner-workings of a unix-like architecture.
