Plutohome (http://plutohome.com/ ) is a very ambitious sounding toolset. Is anyone hacking on it or have any success implementing it? FYI: It claims to be a home network epicenter for VOIP, security systems, PVR, entertainment center, allowing rich media content to follow you on different devices around your home, x10-style home automation and much more, all using a cell phone or a touch screen kiosk as controller and all with (semi) open source software components (some GPL, some custom open source-type licenses). It sounds like something fron the Jetsons! Their idea is to eventually sell drop-in hardware solutions but at present they are only offering the software, and its free (mostly). So anyone have any experience with it?
