Oh...I've only seen very few messages that would require such a hack. It's just a fact that I will put off reading a message for an amount of time proportional to the length of the message. It might be annoying to split one long message into chunks. That's partly why I apologized for sending multiple short messages, even though each was pretty much self contained. I just fired off messages as thoughts came to me. I just happened to dig into the question deeper than I had intended.
We could probably patch mailman to offer an anti-digest option that would split individual messages for you to achieve multiple delivery. It wouldn't be hard to use the footer insertion mechanism to add "to be continued..." lines at the end, and intermediate messages could use auto-summarization software to insert a header of the form, "In previous episodes of this email..." ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
