Wtf, they fixed me right away. They told my mother the samething. A tech had to be dispatched. I called for her again and told them to repush the modem. 5mins later she was good to go. When Comcast bought @home, I moved to a new house so I was getting a fresh Comcast account. I was still in the willow grove node, but somewhere had some bad connections or equipment. Everytime it would rain, snow or heavy wind it would take my connection down. Took 2 years and hundreds of calls to finally fix it ;/ 2 years later more customers started to bitch and they finally tracked it down to bad equipment on a poll somewhere. I love how Comcast always assumes its customer related. -----Original Message----- From: plug-bounces@lists.phillylinux.org [mailto:plug-bounces@lists.phillylinux.org] On Behalf Of Jon Nelson Sent: Thursday, June 09, 2005 9:42 AM To: Philadelphia Linux User's Group Discussion List Subject: Re: [PLUG] [OT] Comcast problems anyone? I spoke with them this AM and said it could take up to 72 hours to fix.
