Yeah I know what you mean. I have two lines from DCA.net so I end up paying verizon something like $30/mo for the privelege.. but it's worth it. They'll give you a routed /29 block if you ask for it, and I pay a little extra for a /28. I do have packet-based outgoing load-balancing set up on my router, thanks to the nth and ROUTE patches to iptables, so I can get 1.5mbit upstream on whatever ports I choose.. it rocks :) E ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeff Abrahamson" <jeff@purple.com> To: "Philadelphia Linux User's Group Discussion List" <plug@lists.phillylinux.org> Sent: Wednesday, June 22, 2005 5:20 AM Subject: Re: [PLUG] OT: high speed internet connection > ___________________________________________________________________________ > Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org > Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce > General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug > ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
