Did they have a similar configuration? What distro? My best guess is that something got upgraded, but unless it's the kernel (which you said didn't get upgraded), I don't quite see what might have happened. Did the USB stop working after a reboot, or was it running, working fine, and then, all of a suddent, stopped working. What does dmesg log if you plug in a USB device (like a pen drive) ? - -Cos - -- Cosmin Nicolaescu Systems Administrator Drexel University Computer Science Department University Crossings Rm. 135 (267)-918-8505 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFC08hW6jFfscf5CMERAjEDAKDtI8pTq9IKjnK7xSyMI/Y6S5I8TwCg1VDv EJfCo5xN3k5J21v/Nw2cX4o= =6NON -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
