Description: Linux/Unix and Network Administration

Details: Responsibilities:   -automated builds, tuning and maintenance
        of our UNIX and Linux servers   -configuring and tuning of the
        network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches,
        load balancers   -software development for tools to build and
        monitor hosts and environment   -on call support of 24*7
        services   -running and building software to run performance
        evaluation and load testing of critical services      Required
        Skills, Education and Experience   -1 year prior experience
        with Redhat, Fedora or other Linux distribution in a server
        environment   -Bachelor degree in computer science or related
        field   -demonstrable experience with at least 2 of bash,
        Perl, php, java    (code samples or programming test may be
        required)   -a demonstrable understating of 3 tier, redundant
        internet architecture   -a working knowledge of RAID and other
        storage technologies    Desirable Skills and Experience  
        -Checkpoint or Netscreen Firewalls   -Cisco routers and
        Switches   -Alteon Load balancers   -Solaris   -cfengine  
        -kickstart   -oracle, mysql and the use of SQL   -windows
        server, active directory, LDAP or Kerberos   -windows and
        Linux/Unix interoperability

Salary Range: Commensurate with Experience
