steve@gashuffer:~$ host non-us.debian.org
non-us.debian.org A 194.109.137.218
steve@gashuffer:~$ host security.debian.org
security.debian.org A 194.109.137.218
steve@gashuffer:~$ host 194.109.137.218
Name: klecker.debian.org

I certainly hope not :)

No, they had an effective DDoS today, because they released a security
update for X, and everybody upgraded right away. I think Debian must
have a few more users than it did for the Woody security upgrades of X
:)

Discussions for mitigation are underway, but no word yet. My suggestion
is give it time for now.
