This is somewhat offtopic - I have never found a good way to search the PLUG archives until now. I just found a good site that has a personalized search engine called Roll YO (Roll Your Own) in which you can direct their search engine to just the sites you are interested in. You can enter one or more URLs and the search engine will do a search for you, so I created one using www.phillylinux.org and where the archives are stored http://lists.netisland.net/archives/plug/ and it appears to do the job. Here are some sample links to the one I made for myself for PLUG. http://www.rollyo.com/search.html?q=Try+it+out...&sid=3183&x=15&y=13 http://www.rollyo.com and search on www.phillylinux.org within their database or just create your own. The only drawback I have found to this is that you cannot narrow your list to folder paths in the URL... it searches the entire URL (so http://groups.yahoo.com/group/phillyjug/ shows not just phillyJUG, but the entire Yahoo groups site. The plus is that I can finally clear out that folder of old PLUG emails that I have been keeping for years as a reference resource. ............... John Voris ...............
