Sorry for this off-topic reply, but having grown up in Chester County when Philadelphia an suburban influences stopped at the Paoli train station, I think things have come full circle. Exton seems to have gone from a rural area near Downingtown with a drive-in movie theater and an ice cream shop, to a fully integrated part of the Philadelphia-centered suburban sprawl, to once again becoming "too far" from Philadelphia.
