[PLUG] KDE RPM front end doesn't start- Mandriva 2006

OK, so I decided to use my problems compiling Bittorrent as an excuse to upgrade from Mandriva 2005 to 2006. Unfortunately, not only am I still unable to compile + run Bittorrent, now I can't even get the front end for rpm to start. More specifically, whenever I select either "Systems|Configuration|Packaging|Add Software" or "...|Remove Software," all I get is an hourglass and then nothing. I'm trying to muddle through rpm at the command line, but it's a bit less than clear.

Sorry, as you can see from my certs, I'm M$ certified (or is that certifiable), but please don't hold it against me. I don't like B-b-b-b-b-bill any more than anyone else, and dislike him far more than most.

	Thx.
