My girlfriend lives in an apartment complex and from there I have access to 4 open wireless networks. When I got a new laptop I was too lazy to add my MAC to her router so I've been using the closest neighbor just fine for a while now :)

(Yes, all traffic leaving my laptop is already encrypted)
