[PLUG] hardware/power

submitted in the spirit of ...
list members know just about everything in the world of computing.
 
new hp dl 380 g4
embedded 6i scsi controller
5 hot plug scsi drives
 
smart start and boot array config util
cant see the controller, and then of course the drives.
 
originally plugged into ups, all outlets used.
then plugged into wall receptacle.
only use 1 of 2 redundant power supplies
 
could power source be the issue?
