Well, if you use their supplied router, there's no impact on Linux whatsoever, aside from the 0.53% overhead :-) If you want to configure a Linux-based router yourself rather than using theirs, it means you can't just grab an IP using DHCP, you have to setup PPPOE. Which works fine, it's simply an extra step :-) -Eric - -- Eric Andreychek | Lucy: "What happens if you practice the Eric Conspiracy Secret Labs | piano for 20 years and then end up not eric@openthought.net | being rich and famous?" http://openthought.net | Schroeder: "The joy is in the playing." -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.4 (GNU/Linux) iD4DBQFExigWR5UKaDAjAG4RAmi+AJ9vUBPT62VsgFvt9hVhLHQ8f/auQgCY4X1/ OJc+R85Vf7MewIzvtA4GMg== =UjKG -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
