[PLUG] restoring from a backup tape....

Title: restoring from a backup tape....

ok.

I have a backup tape of the 7.2 system.

last night I tried doing an install of 8.0, then went into single user and
did a full restore from tape of / (which kind of co-mingled 8.0 with the 7.2)

Did a reboot, the 8.0 boot choices came up, and it hung during initialization.

How would one do a restore, if you don't have the 7.2 CD's anymore?
