I did a Verizon business DSL install for a single Linux PC a little while ago.
I didn't have an appropriate windows PC or mac to run their software
and I couldn't jump thought the fancy hoops on the registration
website without IE6.
I called tech support and the tech gave me the admin username and
password for the verizon provided router/modem and my PPPoE username
and password. He walked me through the router/modem config and it
immediately worked. They should really publish that info in the
signup docs.
Verizon home DSL is probably the same deal, especially if they give
you a similar router/modem.

Airport PPPoE setup.
Is their an alternative way of doing this that does not involve
calling them? I googled it and found that there is a web-site that
could be used to do this (https://dslreg.verizon.net). However, all
the postings about it where pretty old, and Verizon does not have any
mention of this site on their documentation. Anyone knows if this
will work?
