Thanks for all who posted suggestions. At first I reluctantly tried the CD that came with the box, as it had something for Macs on it. Of course, the 'flash' application did not go pass 15% without failing (someone telling me to press either 'YES' or 'NO,' but there're no 'YES' or 'NO' buttons to be pressed...). So I called their 1-800, and although I had trouble to get the stupid robot to understand what I was saying (it kept sending me to the beginning of the menu - very aggravating), I finally spoke with someone who understood exactly what I needed and I was up and running after that. Speed is 680/128 (advertised max of 768/128), which may (or may not) get better after I rewire some things. In any case, it's ~ 30 times faster than my 28.8 modem connection, so I'm happy!
