I found Netgate (www.netgate.com) to be a good source for wireless cards
for Linux / *nix.  They state up front which chipset a card is based on
and which drivers you'll need.  I've been using one of their
high-powered Senao 2511 CD PLUS EXT2 PCMCIA cards (Prism 2.5 chipset)
with an EPIA MII for over a year and have been pleased.
