[PLUG] OT: Thunderbird, First Message

The first message that I try to view in Thunderbird often doesn't open. If I switch to another mail folder then switch back to the inbox, the problem goes away. Has anyone had that problem and, more importantly, have a solution to share?

Sorry, this is a Windows version of Thunderbird; version 1.5.0.7 (20060909) (At least it's open-source and cross-platform.)
