Modified the subject line a bit. I've seen Debian ibooks before and thought they were nifty so I might be convinced.
Two questions then:
* Are the instructions at http://wiki.debian.org/MacBook reliable?
* Closest Mac shop to me seems to be Springboard Media, 21st and Walnut. Anyone recommend them --- or another shop?
